Question Rancho or RockKrawler lifts

Was pretty much all set for this lift at northridge. Those progressive rate springs really got me excited. Lol.
Rock Krawler JK 2.5 Flex System Kit - RKJK25FS-KIT

2.5 flex with bilstein shocks

NOW I'm looking at the 3 inch trail system with the rancho 9000 shocks and I'm hearing great reviews.
Rancho Part RS66107 - 3 Inch Trail Lift Kit - - 4 Wheel Parts

Rancho Part RS999329 - RS9000XL Series Shock Absorber - - 4 Wheel Parts

So what's the real difference between the lifts?
One rides better on the street?
One rides better off-road?

Would love to hear from vendors and the actual companies "give me your best sales pitch why one is better"

The price is about the same so I'm not worried about whose cheaper. I just want to know whose is better and why

This is going on A 2007 jk 4 door on 35's.

Best way for me to describe it is:

Rock Krawker -- Cadillac
Rancho -- Honda accord

I'm not saying a complete rancho kit is a bad lift, but RK is right up there with Metal Cloak, Old man Emu etc..

I cant speak for RK, i have synergy coils, but the progressive rate coils sure are long and ride extremely well on the street. I would go with RK and i almost did.

Heres a pic between a linear 2.5 spring and my new synergy 3 inch.

I actually just installed a RK stock mod lift with the new 1.5" triple rate coils and paired the springs with Rancho rs9000xl adjustable shocks. Rides incredibly well. Got a very good deal from Marcus at River City Offroad.

Don't know about the 3" but I have the 4" Rancho with RS9000XL shocks and they are awesome.

Read through the installation instructions on each to see what's included, what has to be modified and what maintenance is required after install.

Also, you might want to check out the Rancho rebate going on right now unless money is no object.

could never stand rancho products! The last Rancho shocks I put on a jeep (9000's),, my buddy had to purchase/exchange 7 shocks to get 4 that weren't blown right out of the box, soaked in their own oil that leaked out of bad seals! CRAP PRODUCT!,,, sorry to all who like them,, just my own experience.

Really ? Lol

The best prices I've seen for Rancho are on Amazon.
I think their shocks are great. Will rust on you if extra precautions aren't taken but overall, nice handling. FYI ran the 9000's and 7000's. No issues.
I've seen the 9000's dented and still function great. Great shock for the money IMO.

Personally I have used a lot of shocks in my day. Rancho, KYB, Rough Country, Rubicon Express(What I have now), Pro Comp, Monroe,...etc. etc. you get the picture. Personally the Rancho 5000 shock is the best bang for the buck shock you can buy. All companys go thru their bad suppliers, shoddy foreign assembly, whatever. How they respond and remedy it is what I go by. I think too many wheelers are in love with all the high dollar race resevoir stuff that most of them wont ever need. Still kinda like those evo coilovers myself and maybe someday...
The point is buy the best that you can afford and don't worry about what your neighbor has.
