I ordered mine last year and it only took a few weeks to get the rebate card. Rancho can confirm but I hear 4-6

Wish I could've afforded the 9000's reading all of this, unfortunately I had to settle for the 7000's but they're still the nicest I've had yet!

I enjoy the ride these shocks give for sure. If I had to nitpick a complaint though, the adjuster knob is vulnerable to rock damage, and is made from a pretty flimsy plastic dial. Even one hit will crunch them up.

This! There is no reason the adjuster has to face rear.

Still waiting on news of a key to aid in adjustment though. It's a bitch when the fingers are cold.

Rancho any updates here?

Remove the knobs and pack with grease. This will prevent the knobs from sticking and make it easier to turn.

A little more since we are ending the end of this.
As mentioned spin the shock 180, and a lot of people will throw a little grease in the knob and smooth as butter.

Default regret going cheap

Went with the RS5000 when I bought my 3" trail kit a month ago. All I can say is that they suck!! Jeep bottoms out in the back pulling in and out of driveways and going over railroad tracks. Will upgrading to the rs9000's help fix this problem?

Sounds like a spring issue or the Jeep is overloaded. The shock is only there to control the amount of rebound or to dampen spring oscillations. In other words it's there to smooth out the ride.
