Default Rancho Sport Kit-Control Arm drop brackets

Hi
Is anyone using the Rancho sport kit with the front control arm drop brackets. I am thinking of using these with the ARB lift kit which is approx a 3 inch lift, instead of repalcement control arms. If so, can you tell me how much they lower the contol arms?
Thanks
Tom

Are you thinking about doing this to avoid spending on adjustable LCAs?

I believe those brackets were designed for a 4" lift kit, which may not provide the proper Caster setting. If that is the case, and funds are an issue, you might consider using the dreaded cam bolts.

Default Rancho Sport Control Arm Drop bracket

Looking at doing it to save purchasing a set of upper or lower control arms, approx $500 a set in Aussie, also retains factory bushings, retains original wheelbase, as would buying upper and lower control arms, and keeps contol arms near parallel to the ground, which i understand to be of benefit as well. I know they are designed for a four inch, but they do not look like they drop the centres 4 inches. i will not use cam bolts, would probably purchase upper contol arms like the JKS ones, as I understand they use the factory bushes. And retain the factory lower control arms. I contacted rancho and requested specifications, and asked if they would sell them separately, but no response as yet
