Rancho steering stabalizer
I own a 2008 wrangler two door with 2" body lift and 2" coil spacers. Just got 33" Mickey Thompson mtz installed and experienced the awesome death wobble. I called an off road shop and they said it could be my steering stabilizer. I bought and installed it in the factory mount. I noticed that there is a kit that ur supposed to get with it which they failed to mention.
It corrected the problem for a day or so but but jeep is now starting to wobble more and more and veers off to the left.
Am I supposed to get this 'mounting kit' and would that do anything about the wobble? What else could it be?
I noticed that my front end is squeaking to when slowing down.
Any comments would help out lots.

I'm bringing it in on the weekend to get the tires rebalanced. I will check the torque specs and make sure everything is tight. Would unbalanced tires cause my jeep to veer off or would that be an alignment problem?
I learned the hardway about death wobble and how to fix it. Steering stabilizers only cover it up. Some people dont even run steering stabilizers just to prove a point. I think of them as a safety net. I have had the Rancho Stabilizer on my jeep and in my opinion it was the worst one I have had on there. I just put a dual superlift stabilizer on and it works perfect so far.
