Default Rancho Track Bar

Not too long ago I installed a 3" Rancho Trail System on my 2008 JK, since the install I have been having problems with the Jam nut on the track bar making contact with the frame side bracket. The contact was so bad that the threads on the original jam nut actually stripped off leaving the track bar loose, so I went to the hardware store and purchased a new nut. I was not able to find a nut that was the same length as the original and it is about twice as long as the original, I believe that the original was 1/2" and the new one is 1".
I am attaching pictures that will show where it is making contact (circled in red), any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated... if more pictures are needed let me know.

Cool

Can you just grind a little off the bracket so it has clearance?
You could also lift it a little more and lengthen the track bar so the jam nut is further away.

I had thought about grinding a bit but I'm not sure how much I would safely be able to grind or how much I would have to take off to even get it to stop contacting it.
As far as lifting higher, I only have 33"s at the moment and it might look a little ridiculous if I go any higher than it is now.

That would be awesome if it was flipped around, plenty more room for the jam nut.... Pretty sure the directions show it installed this way though, let me look and make sure

Message me your address and we will get you a new track bar.
We had a handful of kits that were off a bit.
I will also PM you now.
Thanks Matt
