Rancho's new drop brackets
These are the same brackets that we offered in our OLD SPORT system and our new 4" SPORT system too.
We had a TON of people asking for just this P/N, so we listened and are making these available as a stand a lone item.
It will use the same parts pack as on the 4" SPORT system, BTW. So you are getting as an added bonus a few extra nuts and bolts that are used on the swaybar end links.

Not answering for Rancho, but. Just my observation after installing and driving the 4" Sport Lift:
The purpose of the drop brackets is to return the control arm geometry of a 4" lift to the equivalent of a 2" lift. If you put these brackets on a 2" lift I don't think you well see much (if any) noticeable benefit.
IMNSHO

BTW - The 4" Sport Lift with RS9000XL shocks is the bomb!
(But as stated earlier, I still would have gone 3" had it been available at the time.)

That is exactly what I'm currently running although I added sway bar disconnects, rear upper and lower control arms, soon to add front control arms.

Another "clean" shot of them. You can see a decent shot of the boxed section adding more strength than other comparable products out there.
Here are the installation instructions:

Only one problem I had was with the passenger side upper control arm bolt. That is a hardened bolt that ate up 4 Sawzall blades before I realized it would take an angle grinder with a cut-off wheel to get through the sucka. Luckily I have friends...

Took us a hour with a hand saw :(
Better ?
- ease of install
- boxed in (stronger)
- size (fits into the factory mounts unlike AEV (2 plates, one mounts inside and other outside of the mount)
This would also add to the strength.
- shoulder bolts included.
- bolt included (07-11)
- free sway bar bolts x4 lol
AEV def has the advantage with the adjustability.
Regardless you are gaining the benefits of the flat CA's.
The adjustability is for caster I believe. Nobody I know uses the upper (3rd) hole w/ the brackets (4-5" lift ?) so now you have a 2.5/3.5 hole. The Rancho brackets only have one hole that appears to have my caster around 4.5-5* (3.5" height)
2.5" you would still be within factory specs maybe a little more.
I posted this on another forum. Here's a snap shot of Ranchos pic in the instructions. The other is RC's like AEV's where you can clearly see the mounting differences.

I used the factory jack on the passenger side upper bolt to push the exhaust out of the way as it was wedged up against the frame. The bolt came out and went right back in without a problem without cutting the bolt. It was a pain but it went quick.
