Default Rattling noise?

Hey everybody was wondering if anyone could help me narrow down what noise I'm hearing. Whenever I engage the transmission in either R or D (it's an automatic obviously) I hear what sounds to me like a heat shield rattling, it's continuous until I put it in either N or P. I have a 2012 JKU Sahara. Also in an unrelated issue I have some steering shake especially when slowing down to take a corner. Any ideas what I should look for? I already replaced all four ball joints. Any advice or input would be helpful

So the shake is more related to the slowing down rather than the turning? Like warped brake rotor shake, or do you feel it has to do with the steering system? Have you crawled underneath and given all the heat shields a good shake? Maybe the shield above the exhaust crossover is loose?
