Default RC 2.5" coil lift installed

Ok, so this is my first post. I just wanted to let anyone that is considering the RC 2.5" coil lift with 2.2 shocks that it was very easy to install. All that I got was the shocks and the springs and no directions. I went to their website and printed the directions and the install was a piece of cake. It took about 2-3 hours with the help of my best friend (my 11 year old son).

I took it for a drive after the install and it drove better than stock. I really like the ride with this lift. I still have the stock wheels on, which will be going as soon as I get my procomps and 35" wheels right after christmas. The steering wheel is a tiny bit to the left but I will fix that next.

I did not notice my jeep with the typical nose dive but, if it did have it, it doesn't anymore. I guess this kit leveled it out.

I hope this helps anyone trying to decide which lift to get. I did measure before and after and I got a little over 3" of lift.

Glad to hear all went well, and see the lift. I have mine sitting in the garage, but am too much of a whimp to install it in the single digit temps we have been having. I am in no hurry so will wait until it warms up a bit. Good looking rig.

I measured from the ground to the front bumper before and after and it came out to 3.25 inches in the front. I can see how the rear would not be as much, the springs were a little easier to put on than the fronts but it might be that I did the fronts first so I had no hesitation to have my son stand on the rear axle to lower it all the way down and make room for the springs.

Don't forget to take out he 10mm bolt that holds the brakeline to the frame for the rears.

I really do not know what everyone is talking about with regard to the shift. All that I know is that it drives better than stock and there is asolutely no vibrations or wiggle at all. So I guess I would say that it is not noticeable.

I have the same lift and shocks as well, with the RC 1.25" body lift. I have approximately 2000 miles on it now and really like it. I think it rides better then the OE HD suspension my JK shipped with on and off road. The kit is also designed to take the "nose dive" out. Good luck with it.

Nice looking rigs guys. I'll try to get pics of mine up today with the new coils. It has been raining off and on since I got done with it yesterday.

My instructions were hiding in the packaging.. They were in one of the "empty" boxes that kept the coils from bumping during shipping.

and if its 3.25 in front isnt that too much for the 2door drive shaft? i have a 6spd and these differences are driving me crazy hehe.
