Default RC 2.5 inch lift...

I have a 2007 4 door 4x4 JK. I am running 33x12.50 mickey thompson baja claws. I am thinking about getting 2.5 rough country lift. I had a problem when I went on vacation this summer to panama city. The tires rubbed a couple times from the weight in the back. It scuffed the inside the fender a little bit. Will this fix the problem. Any advice would be appreciated. Where do you guys get the lifts installed? Do most tire shops do the lifts?

Your in luck I'm selling this same lift w/shock ext, $100.00 obo. If your running those tires on stock wheels they will rub on full stuff, you need new wheels w/less backspacing or 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" spacers. The lift will not fix the rub on its own but might help. NO PERSONAL MESSAGES PLEASE on lift.

The RC will stop your rubbing up and down but you might want some wheel spacers for left and right. Those are pretty wide tires.

The lift is extremely easy to install. You can do it with hand tools in like 4 hours. Remember if you order it, call in the order and tell them you are a member here, you get a discount.

Those are wide tires.

Lift might help a little, but you still might rub when fully compressed.

So as the previous post said, you might be in order for a set of spacers.

The lift I am looking at comes with shocks? I am running pro comp 8179 tires with 4.5 inch backspacing. I don't rub turning the wheel. Just when I am loaded down. The rear end wants to squat. Is this the lift I need. http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_jk_2.html It is $299. Does that look like a good lift? Why are you selling yours?

It all depends if you wheel alot or just once in a while, its fine for minor trails but if you do hardcore wheeling you will be happier w/a spring kit. I was happy w/the RC but happier w/a TERAFLEX spring kit.
