Default RC 3.5" + adj. trackbar question about pitman & brackets?????

will be putting a rough country 3.5" series II lift and got the adjustable track bar to go along with it. my question is will I still need to install the drop pitman and the trackbar bracket???? thanks for any help....

Nope. Dont use the drop pitman arm or the trackbar bracket, just replace your stock trackbar with the adj one and make sure your axle is centered afterwards


also make sure you torque the trackbar while the jeep is on the ground to 125ft lbs of torque for both bolts

thanks for the quick answer... yup already read not to torq anything down until its on the ground.... can't wait to get started. havent installed a lift since my 87 yj

One more thing, you running stock wheels? if so, i think your going to need wheel spacers as my stock rubi tires were rubbing against the new control arms. so just a heads up incase you didnt know

nah i only plan on driving straight lines thanks for the heads up.. i am on the stock sahara rims/tires and was planning on getting new rims and upping to 35" tires in a few months... how bad was the rubbing? can I get away with it for a few months of very light driving?

I believe i was able to turn the wheel about 1 and 1/4 (being 1 full turn and .25 of a turn) before it started rubbing. You can extend the bump stops for the time being, just dont plan on making any U-turns is all lol

The rubbing was pretty bad with the rubi tires as the outer tread knobs rubbed, it made this vibrating/rumbling sound and feeling, took me a while to realize what it was.
I would assume with the sahara A/Ts it wont be as bad
