Default RC Coils to RK Coils?

So, I currently have the RC 4" x-series, wanting to get more height later when I add larger tires (37-39 undecided), would I be able to just slap in some 5.5" Rock Krawler coils and call it good or would there need to be further modifications/swaping of parts in order to make this work?

I think I read somewhere someone had the RC 4" kit and put in larger TF coils giving them 6" with no issues. Any info is great, thanks all.

You could just get taller springs, however once you start mixing and matching different companies springs, shocks, and other components you aren't going to be getting the best ride.

I would also recomend getting at least the RK shocks they reccomend for their suspensions, and also you would then need new bumpstops since the RC ones are built onto the shock.

Littlejon, Thanks for the swift reply, you bring up a good point about the RC shocks having built in bumpstops, that fact always slips my mind. I have no problem going with new bumpstops and RK shocks, would you say Bilstein shocks with this setup would suffice as well or would RK's shocks overalll have better results? Thanks again!

I would go with their 3.5" springs. You will probably be closer to 4" installed.

Well, im actually trying to get alittle more height than my current 4" that I have with my lift. Maybe between 5 to 6 inches total. Thanks.
