Default RC Lift Questions

Hi folks,

Looking for a lift for my 07 Unlimited X. Trying to stay budget friendly so I am looking at the RC 2.5 lift. My first question is spacer kit or coil lift with 2.2 shocks? Second, why all the relocation hardware, trackbar bracket, etc. with the premium spacer kit and non of this in the coil kit?

Thanks.

Is that spacer or coil? Do you have all the brake line brackets etc. installed? Nice ride btw.

I have been running the RC 2.5 coil lift with 2.2 shocks for about 6 months. I made my own brake line extension brackets, easy, cheap insurance. I have been please with the lift on and off road. I am replacing the coils with the new non progressive coils next week. The new coils are supposed to net you an additional 1/2 of lift.

Its the coil lift. I made my own brake line extensions from "fence menders" you find at home depot.

RC is sending me new rear coils this week... I think it would be great if they sent me all four now that I see there's another 1/2in of lift from them...

To the OP, I wondered the same thing, but the mending plates work well for the rear brake lines and they're cheap. I have a rear track bar bracket but I haven't installed it yet, my rear axle seems to be centered just fine. I did get longer sway bar links, the fronts seemed really short.

Chris, if I had to do it all over again I would spend a little more money and go with something bigger than 2.5" now that I have the 37's but Im Just sayin! There is a guy in MaineOffroading that has an 08 4 door with the Teraflex kit in it, he swung out the other day to check out my trimmed flares. The teraflex kit seems to be a lot more complete.
