RE 3.5" Superflex install?
Hi Guys...
I'm going to be installing my new 3.5" Rubicon Express Superflex kit this weekend and was wondering if anyone encountered any problems while installing this kit? Do any of you have install pics or writeups on the installation?

My wife bought me the lift so I'm not sure what she paid but I sure do love her for this one!
I'll be using the RE shocks and will be adding 17x8.5 ATX Predator Teflon wheels along with 35" Nitto Mud Grapplers. The last time I lifted a jeep was 9 years ago, when I put a 4" long arm kit on my TJ...so I was really hoping for a review. I'll definately take lots of pics and will do a write up when finished!
Anyone running 3.5" of lift with 35's? If so, did you need to replace your rear drive shaft?

Best source I found for the install: http://www.*********.com/forums/printthread.php?t=3
The asterisks are supposed to be "j k s o c i e t y"
Track bar relocation bracket is different in this install than what you will have in the box. It used to go on the frame end (as per the link) but RE changed the design and the rear track bar relocation bracket goes on the axel end now.
Install went pretty easy. Make sure you have some sort of anti-seize spray for the threaded joints and a wrench big enough to tighten down the jam nuts on the flex arms. I'd have pics already but she is still stuck in the garage due to the wrong shocks being sent.
Lastly, double check your packing list since as of last week the front sway bar links were on backorder. You can get by with putting the rears on the front for some added length in the meantime.
Good luck and have fun.

your wife totally sucks. you should divorce her right away. send her my way so I can make her treat her next husband much better. I would be willing to marry such a mean horrible person to save a fellow jeeper!
Seriously tho, that is freekin awesome. She deserves something kick ass for that. I have a teraflex 3" lift and my driveshafts were ok until I left the pavement. The first few minutes on the first trail after my 3" I ripped my DS boot. If I had notched my skid or took it off I might have been better off but whatever it needs to be replaced at that height anyhow. The rear would likely be ok for a while on mine but I swapped in a JE reel 1310. If you have an unlimited you shouldn't need a rear at that height. If you have a 6 speed you prolly wont need a front. Unless you go offorad real often. At least I don't think you will.

Thanks for the link and words of encouragement; she's definately a keeper! That write-up blows RE's instructions outta the water.
I'm trying to build Black_Ice to be more a trail rig as it's no longer my daily driver. Something that concerns me (stated in RE's instruction manual and the write up) is "removing the transmission skid plate and NOT re-installing it". Why wouldn't they just add spacers to drop the skid plate, allowing clearance for the ds? Are there any good aftermarket skids that work in conjunction with a lift?

No, but I would really like to see how it comes out and what you think of it. Take lots of pics.
