Understandable...I deffenatly would like to do the lift install myself (tera 3 inch), will i have a problem with axle alignment?
It is real easy to do... I used adjustable track arms on mine. by axle-alignment you mean axle center right? I just used a tape measure and checked it a few times to make sure it was right. I had my alignment checked and had them double check it then. They said I was spot on. Are you going to get the kit with flex arms? If not, you should consider adding lower front arms IMO. My jeep, and I think everyone else that has added them's jeeps, drives better than ever. The increased caster makes the jeep handle really well. Unlike most people, I followed teraflex's instructions on Control arm length and made the drivers side a tad shorter than passenger. My jeep used to pull to the right under heavy braking and now it stops just as arrow straight as it drives.
Do the lift yourself. Just take your time, double check your work, and remember to tighten everything on the ground. If you have any mechanical ability you can install this kit. It is very easy. Also, it is really rewarding to do it yourself. you will love that kit. Post photos when you do it.
If you get the kit from northridge you can save some money on it. Plus David has great customer service.
