Re-gearing JK
Okay so i own a 2015 Unlimited sport with 3.6v pentastar 3.21 gears.
I am getting a leveling kit installed and rubi shocks and 18/59 springs.
I am looking to put 285/70 tires on, but having concerns i may need to regear.
Would it be possibly to run 285s with this set up without a regear? I am not looking to regear atm or lose too much power

There's a lot of personal opinion involved, unfortunately only you can really decide if you like the performance with taller tires.
But if you think about it, those are 33" tires, right? Measured height sitting under the jeep will be around 32"? Somewhat less than an inch taller than the stock 32's? I really don't think you should lose any sleep worrying about this upgrade...

I have 33x10 on my 2014 jk sport with 2.31 and 6 speed. I see no need to regear. the 285's will be slightly wider and your JKU is slightly heavier (not sure if you have an auto) but for what it's worth I drive a lot of hills am happy.
if I could buy it over I would pay for deeper gears but don't feel a regear is necessary.
The worst case scenario here is that you put on the new tires and for whatever reason you just hate it. I personally don't think you're going big enough to notice a huge difference in general. You're going to get used to your own "normal", but, if things don't work out, you can always turn around and sell those tires and go back down. The upgrade isn't going to be 100% sunk cost. Resale obviously depends a lot on the local market though.

You shouldn't notice a huge difference going to 285/70 (33x11.50). I have 3.21 gears and went from the stock tire size to 285/75 (34x11.50). It does seem more sluggish, especially going up a steep incline, but it's not horrible. I am toying with the idea of going to 35's whenever it's time for new tires, but I think I would definitely want to re-gear before doing that.
