Default Real Axle Shift

I recently added a 2.5 Skyjacker lift to my 2012 JK unlimited and when I went to get my jeep aligned because it was pulling to the left a little bit they told me that my rear axle has shifted and they could not align it. Basically my passenger side of my rear axle has shifted forward a little bit and the driver side has shifted back. You can actually see it. I've tried to do some research on this but I not the best mechanic.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I also have 33x12.50 Mickey Thomson Baja MTZ on it.

EDIT....read your post again...

Adjustable control arms will correct axle shift front to back.

Adjustable trackbars will correct axle shift side to side.

I the axle is shifted to the left or right (axle not centered left to right under the Jeep ie driverside sticks out a bit farher than the passenger side) then an adjustable track bar is the answer. However it sounds like your axle has shifted front to back (Distance from the front driver to the rear driver is different than the passenger side distance. You can verify by measuring from a fixed point on the frame to the same point on the axle on the driver and passenge side) so adjustable lower contol arms will correct this as well as your pinion angle too.

You will want adjustable lower arms. That will correct that "twist" that you have. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get an adjustable track bar as well so that you can make sure it is really centered under the rig.

Let us know if we can help you at all.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I will prob. be investing in some new adjustable lower control arms and possibly a adjustable lower track bar.

You dont need to fix it, 2.5" of lift is really nothing when it comes to control arm lengths and trackbar lengths. If your doing it for looks than go for it. But its not needed for operation

When I got my 37x12.50r17 mounted on the stock rims I had a 2.5"BB and the rear was rubbing pretty bad on one side, so I got wheel spacers And fixed it asap. But I want to say its because of the stock wheels.

All you need is 2.5 and flat fenders and 37's should fit no problem
