Yeah, I think you will be ok with that. The true test is the chalk test, but you can get a pretty good idea just from looking at them. See how the ride and wear is, you can always tweak the pressure as you have the tires longer.

No. They are Pirelli Scorpion At's. They are load range E, with a max pressure of 80psi. I would never again put load range E tires on my Jeep. They simply are not designed for such a light load. I originally thought I would just have much tougher tires, which is true, but they cannot safely be run at high speed with the pressures that are optimal for this weight vehical, chalk test or not.

I usually run with 33 or so, but I've only had 25 in them since I went wheeling last, and it rides and handles great. I had to make a sharp turn to the left today, when an idiot tried to make a left in front of me.

I'm running 26psi on 34's. On 33's, you should stay around 30.

I have 33' STT's on the original Rubicon wheels and I am at 32psi.

What about 285/75/16s on crager 16 x 8 steel wheels and I have the OME lift

Get the tires put on Friday

what is the optimal psi for road and offroad

and do you guys recommend any type of portable inflator /deflator?
