Default Real time help - Please - coil lift

Guys,

In the middle of a 4" coil lift on the JK. I am ready to put the new coils in but not sure which ones go on the front. I have a short pair and a long pair. The long pair is about 1.5-2" longer.

Help.

Its a Zone lift and the instruction don't state which ones are which. No labeling on the coils as well.

Long in the front short in the rear. you should be able to compare them to the stock spring and that will clear it up very quickly

Thanks guys,

I figured it out as only one set would fit the front. Longs in front like you said.

Front took 5 hours by myself. One hour of which was beating my pickle fork to death. Never go the damn tie rod off the pitman arm. I just let everything sag and I had tall enough jack stands that it worked out.

On to the rear. Should be alot easier as I don't have to grind out the bracket like the front for the cam adjustment plate.

Cheers,

kls

grind out the bracket like the front for the cam adjustment plate.
Unique to Zone, this system comes with front cam locks to increase caster and ensure good handling characteristics. These cam locks are guaranteed not to slip out of position like other adjustable round cam designs can.
Guess I haven't been following the cam bolt issue lately. Are these actually different and/or better than any of the previous cam bolts?

A highly doubt it - I shudder at the thought of any cam bolts.
