Convenience wise, tire deflators and portable air is useful every time you go off-road. Onboard air might be overkill though. I got a good compressor from 4WD for about $80 and it will fill each of my 35" tires in a couple minutes each.

My '07 has 4.10s stock and they are fine with my 33's.
I would save for gears, or rethink your snorkel stance and waterproof your Jeep. Snork it and extend the breathers if your hitting a lot of water.
