Default Rear 2.5" Bypass Shock Mounting

I'm installing some (front & rear) Sway -A -Way shocks on my 17 Rubicon with a (have Metalcloak 3.5" going to ) 5" lift and 38's. Looking at the area, it looks like I'll have to move the rear sway bar back an inch or so, but I also think I might have some challenge with the tracj bar as well. Anyone have some experience mounting big diameter rear bypass shocks to their Jeep and some words of wisdom on what I can do on track bar (maybe spring angle too?) location and general fit when installing on the rear of the Jeep?

I have seen a modification that moves the upper shock mount point to outside the frame rails. The mod adds a shock tower that is welded to the frame... amazing that there is room to do it but it can be done. It may work for you however that bypass shock has a lot more diameter than most other type of shocks. Still something to consider. Good luck , wish I had these types of problems to worry about

CaryT - that sure looks like a good fix and easy to install.

Did you also use the lower (link below) as well or did you use the stock lower mounts? Wondering if the 2" up and 2.5" back upper mount will require different shocks than I ordered due to the potential changed mounting location.

Shock valving changes as the angle of the shock changes. I would contact the manufacturer to see what his recommendations are for the correct valving.
