Default Rear Axle Options.

So I have decided that I need to upgrade my rear axle pronto. I was looking to do an ARB, and gears, and chromoly's. But after adding all this up I started looking at just buying a D60 rear. It seems they can be had from $3000-4800 depending on the options/brand. Given all this, am I missing some added costs? If I'm reading it right it comes preassembled and is ready to go. Any input is appreciated.

Here's an example.

Yep, they make a lot of sense when compared to adding gears + alloys + a selectable locker to a stock rear 44. A possible added cost may be adapters or new rims if it comes with something other than a 5x5 bolt pattern.

Won't you have to do something with the front axle too?

Some of the ones listed now are JK specific. I am leaning towards to the G2 rear, the design looks awesome with the differential sitting so high similar to the Currie(might be the same actually).

X3. The cost of a D60 built to your specs isn't that much more than doing gears ARB and axles on your factory D 44. Look at the strength and reliability gained Vs the cost. I broke a set of gears and a rear locker before I learned this lesson
