Default rear axle pushed forward

My rear axle seems to be push forward to me. I can't tell if it is or if just looks that way since my rear bumper does not come around. It has 5.5 lift with 37,s. Would a long arm fix this??

It's simple geometry. Control arms are a fixed length and travel in an arc. As you lift the Jeep, the wheel base shortens. Imagine if you unbolted the shocks and pulled the coils and then picked the Jeep up from the top. The axles would hang below the Jeep with the same distance between them as the the frame side control arm brackets. So, not much space.

Does someone actually sell a 5.5" kit without adjustable control arms? That thing has got to be way screwed up. What's the caster on that bad boy?!?!

Rear castor is screwed up but the u-joints in my rear drive shaft don't bind at all. The front has adj on it but not rear. Drives fine.

wouldnt he also need a new longer rear drive shaft along with the controls arms to properly push the axle back?

1350's with no pinion correction and no binding at 5.5" lift. Rather impressive I must say. If it doesn't rub or bind, no need to change it, but if it bothers you aesthetically, throw some adj rear arms on.

Yeah no binding or rubbing. Its been that way for a year now with heavy wheeling. Even went through EJS w/o problems. It just bothers me the way it looks. About to start building my arms for my long arm. I want to do a comp cut and stretch at the same time but I don't like to pay anyone to mess with my jeep and I'm a little scared of it so... I was scared of regearing but jumped into it and it worked out fine. Can't make up my mind lol
