Yeah the four flange bolts, the e brake spring and nothing will break loose... I have the diff cover off and when I look in I can see the splines move less than a 1/4 in when I pull and push. It has to be the bearing housing seized to the axle tube
Dynamite 😡??? What are you trying to do?? Pull the axel out of the housing? Did you remove the gears from the pumpkin? After that they should wiggle out . They might get hung up a little on the bearing but should pull free. You didn't seize the bearing to the axel did you??

My driver's side was stubborn. I put the rotor back on and proceeded to destroy it until the shaft came out. The passenger side slipped right out.
Since you've already been the slide hammer route, have you tried to bolt a tire/ wheel combo back on there to see if the added diameter will give you the leverage you need?

I know the nuts are off. I'm trying to ask if the retainer plate is loose, or is it still as tight as it would be if the nuts were still on. Do you get any movement of the retainer plate?
