Thanks! You're gonna need 3" carriage bolts to mount the jack & have enough room for wing nuts & pad locks. You're also gonna need 4", grade 8, hex head bolts (& washers, nuts, etc) to put the bolts all the way through the bumper.

Also, I put two large nuts between the jack and mounting towers (it comes with one slim nut....I replaced it with 2 fat ones from Ace...it spaces the jack out enough for clearance) If this sounds confusing, it'll make more sense once you're installing it. But, basically, you push the carriage bolt through the top of the mounting tower & tighten a nut on the other side (which would be against the jack). I just put two fat nuts on here for space.

Take a Dremel tool & grind a small area on each end of the 3" carriage bolt. Once it's flat, then punch & drill a hole through for the padlocks.

Give yourself at least 2 - 3 hours for this (assuming you have all the hardware at hand).... also, keep in mind that once those carriage bolts are seated, they stick straight out. Make sure they're aligned with the holes in the jack..... don't ask me how I know this.... This whole ordeal took me forever to do....but that's how things go, ya know?
