My little beauty was peacefully parked this weekend when a distracted teenager rammed it with his Suburban. So I am thinking that I might use this as an opportunity to upgrade the crummy plastic rear bumper with something more worthy. Does anybody have an idea of a good upgrade that I can get fairly quickly? I can't wait 8 weeks like I just did for my Shrockworks rails.

 

If you haven't already, check to make sure your rear gate and spare tire bracket are ok. That spare bracket is really brittle.

 

Brittle? That's pretty funny. There were plastic parts scattered all over the yard. Is there any actual metal in these things anymore? It looked like a bomb went off in the Fisher Price factory.

 

I'm also in the market for a metal rear bumper as well. If anyone knows of a good modular rear bumper please chime in!
