Default Rear floor mats, no carpet

I'm about to pull the carpet in my mango. I have quadratech floor mats and I plan to super PL the clips for the front mats to the tub.

However, with doors off, the rear mat blows around and up/down. Without carpet im worried they will get sucked out.

Has anyone came up with any ingenious ideas to secure the rear mats and make them easy to remove?

Home depot, Walmart....it's the heavier stuff like you see on the back of a 407 transponder.

Sure, but not forever; it's just painted metal. The paint prevents rust, and the carpet absorbs moisture and protects the paint. Abraisions from feet, dirt, stones and other materials can scratch the paint (not unlike sandpaper) and the exposed bare metal can start to rust. So, you can either paint it regularly, or bedline it once.

Bedlining it will ensure it's protected from abraision and make water in the jeep a non-issue.

I bolted mine to the floor using the tie down bolts that are already in the bed.

Velcro works, but the adhesive on the back will let go when the floorboards heat up. I used a ziptie by punching a hole in the drainplug and running a ziptie down through that hole, then put a second zip tie on the end. Easy to undo, and holds the qtec mat down at interstate speeds with the doors off.

We're in Toronto. Although it gets pretty hot here (100+ in the summer), it only lasts about a month. I think he'll be ok with Velcro

Besides...they'll get stolen before that happens anyway
