Did you put a light on it for night driving? Is that required?

Can't you just leave it where it is?

Default relocation of plate

Some states require your plate to be lit (NY being one of them), others do not.

At the last Jamboree I saw several rigs that had them mounted on their spare tires. Im not sure I like the looks of that, but it makes for a quick and easy install.

I must be missing something. My license plate is mounted to the driver's side corner of the Jeep NOT the bumper. Same as my TJ and I changed that bumper without any interference to the plate.
