$199 plus shipping for the 10" setup.

$279 for the 21" setup.

Kits include light bar, bracket, mounting hardware and instructions.

Switching is totally up to you. At first I was going to instal a 3 way switch (manual on, manual off and auto/reverse so that it comes on when I shift into reverse) however I figured a 2 way on off manual would be the best route considering that there would be moments when you don't want it on. 2 way switches are also less expensive.

Most audio shops will install a setup like this for $100.

All you have to do once you get your kit is take off your 3rd brake light (open tailgate, remove 3 small torx screws on 3rd brake light structure, remove brake light, drill three 1/4" holes corresponding with the holes on the bracket, mount with supplied hardware and then have it wired.

Doesn't the DOT/Federal Law require that you maintain the third brake light?
If so you might want to include a disclaimer that your kit is not DOT approved or that it is for "off road use only."
Maybe you can modify your kit to retain the stock third tail light for those that want to keep it legal?

What are you talking about???

The third brake light didn't vanish, I just took the cover off to display where it bolts into place underneath. The third brake light is still there it's just unplugged.

Zoom in and you'll see the housing.

My simple question is "what part of this invention is going to be protected by the patent"? Certainly it cannot be an LED light, there's a buttload of them out there.

Already is protected*

The T dimensions and use as a light bar bracket utilizing the third brake light allowed for a design patent. This is one of many.

Of course the light wouldn't be patented... It's part of a sold kit that I am providing.

Default thats cool just

why have the t bracket and all that ? Theres many ways to mount a bar to the top of the 3rd brake light without having a long bar up the back of the tire carrier . why not just a horizontal brace on top and it would fit any type light
But good luck with the efforts.
