Got my 08' 2Dr without a rear seat. Anyone know of any mods to make or fit a reasonable price seat in the back of a 2 door? Just need a seat for 1.

I had the same thing going on with a build some years ago. I got the fold and tumble TJ seat from Bestop and bolted that in there. It isn't a perfect fit, but it's cheap and the installation is easy. The seat is easy to fold up or to completely remove when additional space is required. It was just fine for one person sitting in the middle. I tossed a 4 point in there utilizing some grade 8 hardware and the seat latch with a backing plate. Worked fine and seemed plenty safe

There are much nicer options out there, PRP makes some excellent bench seats for instance. But you'll pay for that excellence and it probably won't be appreciated by the back seat passenger because no matter what you do the back of a 2 door JK isn't a super comfy place.

All that being said, sometimes the simplest solution is best, and if you can score a factory seat that might be the best compromise.
