Default Rear shock mounting question

My idiotic self has no shame... when I installed my new rear rancho shocks, I left the old Teraflex shock extensions on the jeep and mounted the two together. I planned on selling the Teraflex kit then I got to wondering.... is there a sort of standard OEM mounting plate/bracket that the rear shocks bolt too or is it flush against the metal? I ask because if there is a OEM plate.... I don't have it

Google rough country bar pin eliminator kit. I put them on mine and it got rid of noise and rides better.
