Default Rear Skid Plate

Looking for a rear skid-plate that covers the exhaust and rear guts that tend to be visible when looking at sahara from the behind. I would love to find something that matches the stock front skid plate....anybody know what I'm talking about. Pictures are best.

much obliged as always.

The only thing I've seen is the Kilby skid plate.

If you have an Unlimited, just move the muffler. I have the Cooltech system, and Woods has a great one, too. They're both discussed here.

For the price of the Kilby, I think it is cheaper to move the exhaust as Scott suggests. That's what I did. That Skid plate is darn heavy.

Can you just simply move the stock exhaust, no additional parts required, or do you need to buy anything...pictures?

I knew the 4-doors exhaust could easily be relocated, but how and or where do you have room to do it on a 2-door? Do you have a picture showing where you relocated it to? I'm almost at that point to get a new exhaust put on but i want to do it right the first time.

SoCalChuckster:

On my 2 door, I used the evap cannister relocation kit. Then I installed a Bank exhaust kit but relocated the muffler and heat shield between the frame. It is tucked up nicely and out of the way.

You can also use any make of muffler you like. However, I would recomend using a muffler with input and outputs on the same side. Gives you more clearance next to the frame.

The stock muffler is too big. You need to buy a new muffler that fits better in the new location. The Woods muffler kit provides that:
