Default Rear springs falling out?

I have a Teraflex 2.5 lift with spidertrax spacers and everything else stock.

Had a dealership do an oil change today and when I picked up the truck everything seemed fine ( I will now always inspect myself).

Anyway after 15 minutes home I turned onto an uneven surface and heard a strange noise. Inspection revealed that both of the rear springs were not seated properly . The tops had come out 2" or so and one was wedged agains a part of the frame completely clear of where it was supposed to be. The isolators rubber part stopped the spring from coming clear out once it was under weight. I think It was just from the hoist at the dealer.

Been fixed now but is this something that could happen on the trails with flex?

Anyone else have spring loss / movement issues at flex ?

Thats wierd man....I would be checking my brake lines.....I mean the shocks should have stopped anything going too far when on a hoist.....what exactly were they doing on that oil change?

+2 on the shocks, I am not sure how that could happen... are you still on the stock shocks?

Sounds like your shocks are too long, by the time they fully extend your springs have enough room to come out of place. Your shock length should be matched to the unloaded spring height.

You might want to compare your shock part numbers to someone else with that lift to make sure you got the right ones. They shouldn't allow the axle to drop that much.

I saw this saturday afternoon on a sahara with a 4" lift with 36's and there shocks were too long and the rear springs poped out when the rear axle dropped out. RubyDoo has the Teraflex 2.5 BB with shock extenders and never had that problem.
