Default Rear Trackbar

I purchased a rear trackbar and had a couple of questions. When I did my lift, everything worked out well. I was told when I had the alignment done that I might get a rear trackbar so in the future I would have no problems with getting the rear axle in alignment.
I am ready to put this on, but it would seem I could just put it on exactly like the stock one, with no adjustments. Do I do that with the unit lifted so the axle is off the ground?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I put mine on while on the ground, it was easier to get the bolts in with a friend pushing the side of the Jeep.

In my case, my friend was a load strap I simply adjusted to get the Jeep roughly centered over the axle, then once i was happy with it, I just adjusted the trackbar to fit the distance between mounting points, stuck the bolts nuts on and torqued it down. (dont forget the big nut on the adjuster)

It still needs a minor tweek, but no one would see it but me.

Put it on jack stands and put a floor jack underneath the pumpkin and use rachet straps to get it to line up, depending on your lift is the amout you'll have to adjust. On your lift now do you have a drop bracket or axle brkt or no brkt at all?

Damn , HC, beat me to it, you could do it his way too. I had an axle bracket , so all I had to do was lenthen mine to mount on the stock mount versus where it was on the bracket with the stock TB.

I used a floor jack and pry bar to get the holes to line up instead of a ratchet strap. The strap is probably easier.
