Default Recommendations for under armor??

Found a boulderous trail I couldn't finish.. Really want to "rock" it out! Not worth ruining the rig over.. I am looking for tips on under armer plates and sliders. Thanks!

First thing...relocate the EVAP canister. Northridge 4x4 has a bracket if you don't want to mod it on your own. Plenty of threads on the forum on this topic.

If you don't want to relocate tour evap... you can get an evap skid for about $100.

Diff covers front and rear, benchmark oil pan, evap, new transmission pan (Rock krawler HD deep sump), and there are a few companies out there that offer replacements/add-ons for all the stock plates (River Raider).
Essentials definitely diffs, evap, and oil pan.

There's enough aftermarket support to armor up pretty much all components that your wallet will allow.

I would say Evap relocate/skid, Oil pan skid, and diff covers are a for sure good thing to have.

A busted up oil pan or differentials will leave you stranded on a trail. The factory skids can take quite a beating.

Here is a long thread about skids and such..

Default Under body skids.

I went with the Kilby engine, trans/transfer case, rear control arm/shock skids and the relocation bracket for the evap canister. I also installed the rear diff skid by AEV along with ARB diff covers.

assuming you have rocker guards, i would say pick up a rancho oil pan skid or benchmark replacement pan as that is the only real part that needs protecting and then, pick good lines, listen to your spotter and go easy on the gas. honestly, i think you'll be surprised at how well your factory skids work.
