From what I remember, Teraflex is about $1500 or so for 5:13's front and back...

Hellz Yea!!! Thats where I think i'm head shortly too. I wonder if we could talk them down another $50-100 if we get a couple more guys to do it too. Like a group buy deal or something.

i got quoted with 1600 for gears and labor but that included the computer , is that too much?

computer ? they probably sell you a programmer to change your gear ratio.. thats not a bad deal.. depends on what programmer.. but for some parts of the country that sounds about right.

My quote was $1400 to go from 3.73 to 4.88, front and rear, and that includes replacing all the bearings, seals, and a 6 month unlimited mile warranty.

I take mine in tomorrow morning to have this done.

I had a quote of about a g for front and rear 4.10 to 5.13. Not bad compared to some quotes, but damn that's salty!!! I live in Lancaster PA, somehow I thought it would be cheaper.

Roc,

I think the most logically thing to do would be to drive to Fullerton, the the 700 difference an take the family to Disneyland while your Jeep gets worked on. At least that way you get a vacation out of it.

Ummmm... Superchips Flashpaq definitely does axle ratio changes, that was one of the reasons I bought it. There are cheaper programmers on the market but I am happy with the flashpaq it does a lot of things!
