Ummmm your programmer changed your gear ratio? I think. It prob just adjust your shift points. Maybe the next update will swap your motor for a hemi??

The Flashpaq resets your comp's gear ratio and lets you adjust tire size to correct speedo. Of course it doesn't magically change your gears, I thought that would be obvious.

The AEV Procal and the superchips both let you change gear ratio and tire size.

They both have the function, but does changing the gear ratio actually affect speedo calibration?

There was a post a while back by either AEV or Superchips (I don't actually recall which one posted it) indicating that JK's use the tire size for calibration, and changing the gear ratio doesn't actually do anything. It is apparently used for other vehicles, just not the jk.

I have both, so maybe I should get off my backside and do some experimenting.

In the manual for the procal it states changing the gear ratios ensures proper shift points on the auto. I actually forgot to do it initially after I re geared and ran it without calibrating the 5.13 gears for like 2 weeks lol but after I did I actually noticed I was doing slightly less rpms at 70 mph. Just something I observed.

Gears and tire size will both affect your speedo! For.the people that are saying a programmer wont regear your jeep well no s*** but it will adjust how the computer reads the gears or tire size.

Got a quote of $2850 for Yukon 5.13's and grizzly lockers front and rear out the door. Has 3.21's now. Didn't sound too bad till I read these prices. Shop is reputable but now I'm thinking. Any suggestions in lake Charles la area.
