Im interested in the locker question too. Im ready to pull the trigger and would like to get as much info as possible. I like the idea of the tru-trac up from since its not a full locker. Im thinking a detroit in the rear, possible OX. I like the ARB but like the OX its a little pricey for a 20% (if that) "offroad" Jeep.

My experience with lockers may be a bit limited but I'd say do them. The lockers in the Rubi work well and have given me no complaints.

In the past I have had pickups with Detroit Lockers in the rear and TruTrac up front and they performed well. If I were equiping a JK that didn't have lockers I might go with the Detroit in back but I doubt I'd do the TruTrac in the front. On the theory that when you need a locker you really need it I'd do an ARB or Ox in the front.

You really want to get the gears and lockers done at the same time so as not to waste labor costs. Good Luck!
