regear rear only?

Default regear rear only?

i am running 4.10, about to throw on the RE4.5" lift and 37's. do i need to regear rear only or front and rear. i have to use on interstate, so will go wth 5.13

If you plan to use 4wd you need to regear the front as well.

You have to regear both......

If you are going use the 4WD you have to regear both. You can not just regear the rear.

thanks for the info, next question would be how do i find out what the front is dana 30 or 35 or 44? i have 07 sahara unlimited, came wth 4.10 gears, 44 rear but what is the front because if im not mistaken that makes a difference when i order the fron gears

An unlimited will have a D30 in front unless it's a Rubi, which gets the D44. The D35 didn't go into any unlimiteds if I recall correctly.

thanks again, i am ordering everything today. they tell me should have it end of next week, do the install and get some pics up. cant wait, first jeep i have ever had.

If you are an Automatic and running 37's you may want to consider the next higher set up which I believe is 5.38s Oh, and they are not out yet. I have an auto and 35's with 5.13s and it is just right. Just a thought. I am sure there are plenty who will disagree with me.

i agree, I would want 5.38's for 37's...

But I wonder if they'll be available for the 30?
