Thanks for doing some homework for us. The writeup didn't mention a crush seal. Maybe it's an "iffy" part, just depends on if you damage the old one when removing it. Same w/ the pinion bearings I guess. Those are more $$$ than I was expecting.

Maybe it's worth mentioning, I read once in an article by Bill Vista that he recommends not re-using the ring gear bolts. Anybody else heard of this? I guess he knows his stuff. I'm gonna check on prices for those. If they're reasonable, it's a no-brainer.

So that's roughly $152.20 for the front, and $149.20 for the rear. As always, I was hoping to get off cheaper.

The article calls it a crush sleeve dealer called it a crush seal. Dont know about the ring gear bolts?? Why dont the rig and pinion kits come with bolts!!

You sure about that? Here are the part #'s for the crush sleeves, as copy/pasted from the write-up:
Front Crush Sleeve (5183525AA) $1
Rear Crush Sleeve (5066047AA) $10

Those are different #'s from the crush seals, as you can see. Could the crush seal be the same thing as a pinion seal?

Not sure about the ring gear bolts either. I'll open the boxes when I get home. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll be included.

I am confused about the crush seals I think the parts guy wrote the wrong name next to the part #'s. I do have those part numbers listed.
