regearing
I know this is a newbie question. I have a 2015 jku sahara with 2in coil lift. I am looking to run 33-35's right now I have 3.21 gears ? is am ok with regearing to 4.10's or would it be more beneficial to go to 4.56. side note I am a wknd warrior hunting fishing etc. not into rock krawlin. thanks guys for any input.
The 4.10s are perfect with the 3.6l in the stock Rubicon (as an example).
So over 33s I'd probably go 4.56.
Or if you think you might go with bigger tires later, get the 4.56s regardless.

I am running 285's General Grabber diameter is 32.9" with Rancho 2" sport lift. I added a lot of weight with bumpers, winch, rails etc. i upgraded to 4.56 and love it. Thought had 3.21s when diff shop tore down called and said had 3.73s so glad i went with 4.56. Going up the sierras to our house in tahoe 2-3 times a month the 4.56s are well worth the investment
I went with 4.56 gears with 33's. I couldn't be happier. I don't run it over 65 MPH on the highway because of the increase in RPM's, but I don't drive fast anymore regardless. I'll be going to 35's when these tires wear out and the 4.56 gears will be fine with those too. Some good advice, while you're in the pumpkin, go ahead and do your lockers. I put truetracs in mine front and rear and they are bad ass.
I wouldn't regear unless your going to be pulling trailers with SxS around 2500# or so..For what you said you'll be doing i wouldn't change you don't need too.. Unless you just really want too.. If it was the 3.8 i would say yes, do it. 4.88 gear
