You'll be at 2555 rpm at 60mph, and 2981 rpm at 70 mph in 6th gear with 5.13 gears. I've never seen anything blow up at 3000 rpm. I would strongly advise against talking to these people again.

Bullsh*t. What does it exactly mean when he says he can't run it 'cause it revs too high? The Jeep hesitates, overheats, completely shuts off, explodes, what exactly happens that he cannot drive?

5.13's in a Rubi are just fine. I've got the same in my Sahara on 35" Pitbull Rockers and it barely turns 2000 at highway speeds. Just do it.

The only thing that may blow up is your transfer case, if you have driveshaft vibrations. But that is more product of a tall lift and uncorrected driveshaft angles. 6" is a lot of lift.

I am using J.E Reel front and rear drive shafts they are rated for 4-6" so I think the transfer case will be ok, I am gonna go ahead and take my chances with this lol, thanks for all the post guys I really appreciate your post, thanks!!!!!'

I have 5:13's and 35's and the gears are good. If your planning on eventually going to 37's I would suggest maybe doing 5:38's. Something to consider, your jeep will still not explode with these gears.

I'm going to re gear to 4.56 when I get 35's, I have several friends that run that setup and it's perfect IMO. Good luck and i doubt you will blow up BLAHAHAHAHA
