It will depend on your stock gearing. I have 4.10's with the auto and it is acceptable. I would like to have the 4.88, but around town I don't have any complaints. At highway speeds it needs a little more power.

Without the overdrive, 4.10 works great but put it in OD and it definately needs help on the highway. I would hate it even more with 6 speed. Like what was said, 4.88 would be nice.

You can run 35's on 4.10's but I sure noticed a significant power loss even with my JK being a 6-speed. 4.88's will bring you back to stock performance but I opted to go with a set of Superior 5.13's to give me a little extra umph and boy am I ever glad that I did - Thanks Off Road Evolution for talking me into it

i think this is what i'll be doing as well. and i agree that you should go bigger if that's what you want, and cinch your belt for a while for gears. the most important thing is that you are happy with it.

I have a 6spd with 35's and 4:10's and have plenty of power. More would be nice. If you plan on staying with 35's I would do 4:88 (6spd) and 5:13 (auto). Just my $.02.

I have 35's with 4.10s and it's not bad. I just turn off the OD. I will regear someday, but it is not a high priority for me.

Man, I've been banging my head against the wall this last week. My shop kept recommending 4.88's for me (I'm running 35's now, but planning on going to 37's) I ordered mine a week ago (4.88's) and just called now to cancel and order 5.13's. I keep reading about everyone going to 5.13's and how happy they are with them. I figure I might as well go with the 5.13's and be happy; rather than be sorry, if I go to 37's with 4.88's.
