Default Regearing Jeep

I know this subject is covered fairly well in forum, but still somewhat up in air on decision. I plan to lift my 4 door JK 2" and upgrade to 33" tires. Have a 6 speed. Pretty much had decided on 4.56 gears but after talking with a number of people received some fairly mixed opinions. Several felt 4.11 is fine, which I know is wrong based on how Jeep today performs with 32's, while others felt don't go any higher that 4.88 as if went with 4.56 I would be disappointed.
While others as well as some of the charts would lead me to 4.56. If my calcs are correct, at highway speeds in OD with 4.88's will be running in the 3100+ range. While at 4.56 would be below 3000. Though most of my on road driving is on back country roads 60 mph or less, I still do a decent amount of highway driving. Just looking for advice from others that have regeared with 33's on their views.
Thanks

If you do substantial amounts of highway driving and you have factory 4.10s right now, why spend the cash to regear? I've got 33s with a 6-spd and 3.73s and it's not an awful performer on pavement or off. You are a bit heavier than I am, however, I'm a 2-door.

Thanks for your replies. Actually with the 4 door and doing any drinving in hilly conditions, Jeep needs to be a geared a little lower. At least that is my opinion. Though I do do some highway driving also do a decent amount of driving up in foothills and mountains of SC and NC and Jeep really does struggle a bit. I know much related to the V6 but also I think moving to at least 4.56 will give it a bit of help in those conditions.
Thanks again

You know you won't be happy staying with 33's, so why fight it. Drop in some 4.88's and start looking at 35's...
