Default Regearing Question

Hey guys, I'm running a 2 door 09 Rubi Manual pushing 37" tires on a 6" Skyjacker long arm lift. Just looking on some feedback on what I should go to. I'm leaning towards 5.13 but i want to be able to still use the jeep on the road. Will 5.13s be to low for street driving? Basicly I'm stuck between 4.88s and 5.13s. So what do ya guys think?

I haven't done them yet, but I will let you know. Honestly, I am still leaning to the 4:88s

I saw an article in a recent 4wheel drive mag about a rubicon direct from the dealer with 35's and 488's so if your running 37s I guess 513s

I have 5.13's with 35's and auto tranny. I like the set up. But from what I have gathered from reading threads is a manual trans you want 5.13's or 5.38's running 37" tires. But personally I would get 5.38's if I was you. It would be just fine in town and on the highway. I couldn't go with 5.38's because I have a d30 front end. Either way you need to regear with 37's.

What would be my top speed with 5.13s or 5.38s? I've been told I won't be able to go over 55mph

I'm running almost 2500 rpm's at 75 mph. And still not near red lining. Who told you that? Do a search (in the top right hand side of the screen) on gearing so you can see what the majority of people say, No doubt you will want at least 5.13's on 37" tires.
As far as top speed, you will still be able to get a speeding ticket on the highway.
