Thats what i was planing on doing but it seems hard and its not to clear on how to do it? I was thinking just cutting the stock light and add new wire to it just to extended the wire but not sure if that will work because it only has two wires a white/purple and a black one

Did mine! Just cut and extend the light wires. I ran mine under the carpet, through the mesh to the gate, inside the gate then out to the plate holder. Followed the third brake light wires. Hard to see in pics but here you go.

Two wires. Any electrical wire. Yes, that's the stock holder. A little nip and tuck and bolted it straight to the center cap.

Default PLate

I will tell you from a law enforcement stand point . Some states will tag you for moving the plate. Myself I could care less as long as I can make out the plate . Just be aware that you may get stopped and in some states the violation is improper display of plate . Stay Safe and if your state allows please carry conceal and carry often.
