Really like the Rock Hard skid right where it is. Besides protecting the evap can, the added bonus is it tends to block trail hazards that might otherwise jam up behind the axle. It also offers a little more protection for the drivshaft and exhaust. Doesn't cover them, but protects a bit more from larger rocks. Anything that would have taken out the unprotected evap canister is now blocked from even getting that far.

Works very well for me.
