Default Relocation bracket for spare? Yes or No

I just bought 5 kumho mt tires 35x12.5 r15, I also purchased procomp steelies with 3.75bs for all 5 tires. i was wondering because of the bs that the tire might be able to fit w/o a relocation bracket, but not sure.

I got my 35x12.5r15 MTR K's on MB72s which have 3.75 bs as well, so we basically have the same setup...mine fits without one but it doesnt sit on the rear bumper but suprisingly it is quiet after a month and no damage after a few wheeling trips.

thats good. I just want to run it until i have enough to buy a rear bumper so i really didn't want to have to buy a $50 bracket for a few months and never use it again.

good plan, my old 35s and wheels were too big with 5 inchs of backspacing, so I got a bracket and it wobbled so badly over bumps that it sounded like it was going to come off lol. I ended up leaving it at home around town and just throwing in the back for wheeling trips.

The lower backspace moves the tire further out, it's the big tires on stock rims that need spacers. What you are likely to need, though, are extended bumpstops. Your spare will be attached at the middle of the rim, but the tire will not be contacting the stock stops on either side.

I didn't have to use an extension on mine.

nthinuf is right about the stops. The backspacing on the wheel moved it out away from the tailgate enough that it doesn't touch the stops without extensions. For what it's worth, mine didn't budge/wiggle at all, even without the stops. It did touch/rest against the top of the bumper though which probably helped out with the wiggling.

I've had a 35" Toyo mounted to my stock rim on my stock carrier with my stock bumper with no issues for over 3 years. No rattles, no wobbles, just cut the stock bumps down a bit and it fits great!
