Default Relocation brackets vs quick install mirrors?

I cant make up my mind and figured I would get some opionions from those who have already traveled down this road.

I am thinking of mirror relocation brackets which utilize the original mirrors or the Lange quick release mirrors.

I like the idea of the Lange mirrors but think the brackets would be sturdier and also would be more difficult to steal? These are all assumptions at this point as I do not have the ability to inspect them before I buy.

Thanks in advance.

get an HD mirror and call it a day. Relocation brackets are great until you put the doors back on then the view of the pass side goes away.

I just put on a pair of cheapos from Napa Auto Parts (wide selection) and run a bolt through the door hinge. The mirrors are small enough to keep in my tool bag.

I did make a custom swing-away mount for the passenger side. It's really just 6" of 1" square stock. I added a convex mirror and bolt the setup in the lower hinge mount. It gives me a great view of everything around and under the passenger rear wheel.
