Remove Rear Driveshaft - Move JK with Front Drive?
Hi,
I will be removing my rear driveshaft to have it reworked slightly. During the time that it is removed I was wondering if it will do any harm if I use the front wheels (in 4 wheel high) to pull the JK out of the garage, and then to back it in again.
(I'm sure I can get by with things that won't be accessible while the shaft is removed; but, in case I get in bind, I thought I should ask ahead of time. There will be no street driving, and only minor use of steering.)
Thanks for any advice.
Jeff

Hi Racer,
Thanks for your advice.
I'm curious about the flange reference? Does it have to do with the bearing load at the differential and transfer case, or is there something more?
Thanks
Jeff
