Hey guys that has taken their carpet out and bedlined the tub!

What did you do to the 'trunk' cover? Cover it in something else? Leave it carpeted? What?

Just curious.

I just left mine carpeted. I throw a towel over it when needed. I have seen several folks who take that piece out with the carpet. They just go without the cover.

I got the tuffy cover. It is SOLID and looks good with the black Line-X... and it locks!

I also got the Tuffy trunk. It is made very solid with the exception of the lock attachment plate which is pretty hokey. I intend on screwing it through the body soon instead of the weird wings it comes with that don't work so well. Also be aware that it is made too long and dents in the door. This is not that big of a deal once it is "clearanced" but the buyer should be aware.

I also put a thick rubber washer under the bolts for the subwoofer to account for the lack of carpet. This stopped the buzzing when it would hit and vibrate the floor.
